A photovoltaic module (solar module) is used to produce electricity. Often also called solar modules, but in principle photovoltaics is the more correct term. A module contains a large number of solar cells. These cells convert light energy into electrical energy. A combination of a large number of solar modules is referred to as a solar system/photovoltaic system. |
