Shading
Shading refers to shadows that fall on solar modules or individual solar cells and have a negative effect on the performance of a photovoltaic system. These shadings can be caused, for example, by trees, chimneys, other buildings/parts of buildings, etc. Shading has a major impact on the performance of a solar module and should therefore be avoided if possible.
